During Spring 2020, as a part of my Visual Thinking class brief, I had to design a brand that would help solve a problem in today's world. Hence, I designed a brand that would help to make 21st century parenting easy & guilt free. The brand is fun, bright, playful and something that a working parent would greatly connect to in their daily life. Shapes, tangrams, dashed lines and triangles were the main aesthetic elements of the brand.

PICKtoPLAY helps you
- Customize parent-kid activities to your schedule
- Develop a stronger bond with your child
- Create memories together
The process started with topic selection, exploring the concept, mind-mapping ideas, followed by brainstorming and narrowing down to the final concept.
In the next step I researched about competitors, did SWOT analysis, created 3 personas for the brand, researched potential stakeholders and researched background of the brand.
Stage 3 was all about brand development which consisted of look and feel of the overall brand. I explored logo design for the brand which included pencil sketches narrowing to digital versions. For my logo initially I wanted to play with typography and shapes and after many refinements and inspiration from the mood-board, I finally created type out of shapes and used the bright, colorful palate to make it look fun playful and friendly.
And the last stage included a poster series for marketing, and three main deliverables—
a brand event, a mobile app & an activity-kit box respectively.
