Penguin Design Awards 2013

 

The brief was to design a book cover for the children's book 'The Wind in the Willows'. I chose to do a simple illustrative design that was different to any of the previous covers. I didn't want to give the story away from the first glance, which is why I have not included the characters or well-known scenes. I took the title of the book in a very literal sense.
