The Adjustable Toaster
This project revolves around playing with the idea to design a toaster that is suitable for different types and sizes of bread. The most important reason why for Princess Household Appliances® is to be able to sell the product in multiple countries. The end result of the adjustable toaster is adaptable, hence the name. Varying thicknesses of bread wont be an issue for this toaster since the sides are adjustable.

Most "breakfast" products can be easily sold in several countries, while this is more difficult with the toaster. The type and size of a toaster is determined by what type of bread is consumed per region, therefore it is not common to make universal toasters because one size is simply not enough for the different types of bread consumed in each country.
A rotating handle can be seen on the back of the toaster. With this knob the toaster can be adjusted to match the width of the bread. The handle has been deliberately made large so that people with less force in their hand can operate it just as easily. The outer layer offers good grip because it is made out of rubber.
The compartments can be used separately. Instead of heating both sides up while using one, it's possible to only heat up one compartment which makes the toaster more durable.
