2017 Product Design - PYPE

PYPE is made up of paper pulp. This design recycled paper which we use a lot everyday. It is a environment friendly tape dispenser. Because tape is a consumed tool ,I made this station to remind users to cherish the tape less waste.

Concept
To emphasize the point of wasting day by day. I build the shape like a clock, and it will swing when people use the tape. Just like time ticks away.
It is always a inconvenience to me when I install a new tape on the dispenser because I have to check the direction carefully. PYPE has 2 blades, both sides could cut down the tape. It also enables people to store 2 tapes.
What's more, 2 people could use this dispenser at the same time.
