Design printed materials containing information for a museum of choice.
Opportunity
For this challenge, I created a magazine, poster, and brochure for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Rock Insider is a concept for a quarterly magazine presenting information about various exhibits and events taking place at the museum. The brochure is a little different because it contains only general information about the museum such as hours, ticket info, and services offered. My goal was to capture a rock and roll vibe while also maintaining the aesthetic set in place by the Rock Hall. I accomplished this by choosing dynamic photographs, big, bold, in your face type, and employing the torn paper and textures present on Rock Hall’s current website. The target audience for the work is older rock fans and families. I wanted these pieces to be approachable by all ages since the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a family-oriented venue.
