I was required to design a desktop speaker for a design studio class. I was inspired by the shape of goat horns used as ancient war trumpets. I've drawn upon that idea to use it as a concept for a contemporary desktop speaker. I fabricated the shape starting with a timber block which I carved into the final shape; which was used to make a negative mould. The final 'horn' was made by pouring resin into the mould; which was polished and mounted onto the base.
