El 17 de mayo de 2019, un grupo de activistas nos tomamos el Sistema Metro de Medellín, conmemorando el 17 de mayo de 1990, cuando hace 29 años la OMS dejó de reconocer a la homosexualidad dentro de su lista de enfermedades mentales. Hoy, en el #DíaContraLaHomofobia, transfobia, bifobia y lesbofobia, estuvimos recorriendo varias estaciones con datos e información sobre la situación de derechos humanos de la población LGBTIQ. Medellín es la ciudad de Colombia con mayores atentados frente a esta población, tanto violencia homicida como ataques no letales. La homosexualidad no es la enfermedad, la enfermedad es la homofobia, y su cura es la educación, por eso en este recorrido además de evidenciar estos ataques, entregamos un panfleto informativo y unas curas adhesivas con el hashtag #CuraLaHomofobia.

On may 17th of 2019 a group of activist took the Metro system of Medellín, commemorating the date May 17th/1990, when the OMS (Mundial organization of Health) stop recognizing homosexuality on their group of mental illnes . Today on the #InterNationalDayAgainstHomophobia, tranphobia, biphobia and lesbophobia, we were walking through many stations with data and information about the human rights situations of the LGBTIQ poblation. Medellín is the city of colombia with the most attacks againts this poblation, such as homicides and no letal attacks as well. Homosexuality is not an illnes, the illnes is homophobia and its cure is the education, that's why we gave them too a flyer with information and band aid (on spanish "cura" wich spells the same as "cure") with the hashtag #CureTheHomophobia.
