In 2016 Toronto hosted the NBA All-Star Weekend. adidas played a key role in this marquee event as the official uniform and apparel sponsor of the NBA. In order to mark the first time this event would be held up north, the global adidas team created a theme around the northern lights. These visuals were applied throughout Sportchek retail locations both in large scale and in-store format to advertise the officially branded merchandise.
