Alexandria in the 2nd century was inhabiting 3 main ideologies ancient Egyptian , Roman and early Christianity ... all at once . This had its impact on architecture and design as seen clearly in catacombs of qom el - shoqafa , Alexandria , as the three different styles are seen clearly on the same site . The restaurant is inspired by this forgotten Era , bringing it back to life in a modern 21 century way .

Embracing the culture and ideologies of the era through styles , ornaments , patterns , fabrics ... etc. and blending them with modern architecture elements of 21 century such as lights and some pieces of furniture 

Used fabrics are replicas from ones discovered in Alexandria that dates back around 2nd century ( most of the fabrics preserved in Cambridge museum .
