The direction we embarked on was to create a practical approach. We began brand development with stripped-back typography. We had to consider how to communicate this in a crowded F&B market, with many similar products. The bold and modern word-mark created can communicate clarity, creativity and a sense of playfulness.

The intention was to create a universal brand through its styling. Functional and unornamented, the branding keeps the focus on the food and message. Application and scale are vital in this brand’s impact, with typography amplifying its voice. The loud, bold and teasing tone provokes response from the customers. The implementation of a single colour and halftone photography communicates the intense pleasure of a good serving of Açaí.
