American Airlines Center Advertisement

SITUATION
When the American Airlines Center opened in downtown Dallas, it replaced the city's historic entertainment venue, Reunion Arena. As the new home to NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, NHL’s Dallas Stars, concerts and other events it was instrumental to inform consumers of the new premier sports and entertainment arena and its party suites.

TASK
To develop an advertising campaign to increase awareness of the American Airlines Center and its high-end party suites.

SOLUTION
I developed the ad campaign by managing the photoshoot, retouching the photos, and designing the artwork in three different formats; full-page, half-page portrait, and half-page landscape. During the development of the campaign, I wanted to give the design a "platinum" feel to represent the quality of the venue and its party suites. Therefore, the wardrobe chosen for the model was a suite and platinum-looking tie with a silver background. Furthermore, to draw attention to the different types of events housed at the arena, I digitally enhanced the tickets in the model's suite pocket.
