Farmers' Market Fun

I used to find photography a joy, a pleasurable diversion from everyday worries. Now I put all my worries into it, about the pandemic, about the next election and the future of my country. Enough, I’ve decided.
This was a holiday weekend, and there were few people around. Either they had gone away, or were staying home as the authorities had asked them to. The only activity available to photograph was that old faithful, the farmers’ market. Things were slow there, too, but with a new zoom lens on my camera, I focused on items of purely visual interest, and put all else out of my mind.
