The Contour Hydration Pack design maintains a low center of gravity and incorporates minimal storage for essential items for mountain biking. Back in my xc racing days we never required a hydration pack because the laps were short enough we could get bottle hand ups. Veering into the endurance side, where water stops were scarce or unavailable, hydration packs were a necessity. While competing in the seven day BC Bike race, I observed racer after racer adjusting their packs, rubbing sore necks and backs, and struggling to find comfort while wearing loaded packs (myself included). After identifying and addressing many problems, the Contour Hydration Pack design works to eliminate issues so the user can worrying about riding and not about their hydration pack.
