Hi all, my names Arif and I've been taking photos for about 7-8 months now. I've been using it as a means of therapy to help me recover from a serious illness. I like shooting portraits and photographs with a more painterly and artistic feel. I also have a fondness for monochrome images and vintage fashions. My main equipment is a Nikon D800 Camera which i absolutely love for the detail (esp in eyes). I use it with with a Sigma 24-70mm/2.8 being my general purpose indoor lens, a Nikon 85mm/1.8 for close ups (and large indoor spaces) and my trusty Sigma 70-200mm/2.8 OS which is permanently left at 200mm! The 70-200mm is my favourite lens but is only really useful outdoors but that's great because I love shooting outdoors! My other main piece of kit is a triangular single hand reflector. What's not so great is that I live in England where the weather automatically knows when you're trying to take photos and immediately punishes you with rain but I love it anyway!
